Job Description

PR Engineering is currently seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our team. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the materials being welded.
• Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, to join metal components.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications, including strength and aesthetic requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks for extended periods.
• Welding certification(s) a plus.
