Job Description

PR Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CNC machining, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

– Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to fabricate precision components.
– Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
– Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each machining task.
– Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to exact specifications and quality standards.
– Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
– Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.
– Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
– Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
– Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
